Kids Of Kieni West 5K

Though it was very cold, my friend Mica helped me and I'm glad she did.  We raised $32 and this time we are going to give the money to Mindy to help rebuild the orphanage.  It is still helping kids in Kenya. Amarillo High Craft Show

We raised $54 at the Craft Show at Amarillo High at the end of 2011.  We will be using this money to restock the bracelets so we can keep on going.  We will be at the Kids of Kenya and Kieni West 5K and Fun Run February 25th at Ridgecrest Elementary selling more.  Come out and see us!  For more info on the 5K visit at the Kids of Kenya and Kiene West facebook page.  Thanks for all of your support.  We are hoping to start a Facebook Page soon so stay tuned.

Selling Bracelets at Wal Mart

When we went to WalMart we got $137 selling bracelets.  Most of that money will go to John and Connie.  And we'll use the rest to order more bracelets.  We got more money than our first fundraiser and we are really glad that happened.  Thank you to the people who bought the bracelets.  This will really help John and Connie and the kids in Kenya.

Wow!  We have raised over $100 so far.  We gave it to John and Connie when they came to Amarillo to visit.  We are going to be selling the bracelets at WalMart Saturday, July 9th.  We will be at the 45th and Bell store.  Please come see us!  Thank you to everyone who has already bought a bracelet.

Reaching our Goals

Today we reached our goal thanks to our friends at Coronado and Houston.  We reached OVER our first goal by $4.  We will be sending all of that money to the kids in Kenya that John and Connie work with.  I'm really glad we reached our goal really fast.  Sometime soon we will be setting up a table at WalMart to sell even more. 

Our First Fundraiser

I did my first fundraiser today.  My mom was having a garage sale and she made a table for my bracelets.  We did really good for our first time.  We got $42.50.  My goal is to raise $70 before I send it to John and Connie in Kenya.  If you came by and visited us at the Garage Sale...thank you.
